As part of our Central Water Networks team based in Newmarket, you'll collaborate with a team of passionate Water engineers and no two days will be the same.

Some key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Analysing fault data to optimise the performance of the network
  2. Ensuring the system meets present-day design requirements and standards
  3. Reviewing and monitoring critical infrastructure work on the network by external & internal contractors
  4. Responding and managing network-related incidents
  5. Managing environmental compliance against agreed targets and ensuring we meet customer service KPIs
  6. Performing after-hours, on-call duties and being available for rostered work if needed
About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about engineering, the environment, and the community. You'll be a confident, enthusiastic problem-solver with a 'can-do' attitude that loves a challenge and works well under pressure. Additionally, you'll have:

  1. A relevant tertiary level qualification in engineering or experience as an experienced practitioner
  2. Experience in water or wastewater networks, planning, operations and maintenance, civil construction and design, hydraulics, and flow behaviours
  3. Excellent communication and customer management skills
