We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to join our team in Auckland as the Maintenance Operations Manager. As the head of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for implementing maintenance programs to ensure optimal production area operation.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in people leadership, with a strong focus on team development. You should possess significant experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in FMCG, including engineering roles.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of skilled Maintenance Technicians
  • Implementing maintenance programs to improve organizational performance
  • Representing the company through technical expertise and embodying our values and mission

In this challenging role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities. Your leadership skills, combined with your technical knowledge, will enable you to drive improvement initiatives and optimize our maintenance processes.

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a people leadership role with a strong focus on team development
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (strong preference in FMCG) including Engineering roles
  • Experience of change management within the plant to improve organizational performance, in safety and quality as well
  • Project management experience, including leading a project
  • Understanding of Operational Excellence methodologies like TPM, Lean, and 6 Sigma
