Job Description
As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading our Electrical & Engineering department in Alexandra. You will work closely with our team to ensure the delivery of quality work to our clients and staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing pricing and tendering processes
- Driving a collaborative work environment
- Managing contractual procedures
- Preparing reports and programs
- Providing leadership and guidance to department staff
- Ensuring the delivery of all work to required standards
Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
- Excellent technical knowledge of electrical and engineering practices
- Excellent understanding of industry costs and productivity
- Experience in delivering turnkey solutions from estimating to delivery in the electrical field
- Competent use of Word, Excel, MS Project, and email communication systems
- Clear communication, ensuring requests are dealt with promptly and accurately
- Experience managing and developing teams (preferred)
