Job Description

As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading our Electrical & Engineering department in Alexandra. You will work closely with our team to ensure the delivery of quality work to our clients and staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing pricing and tendering processes
  • Driving a collaborative work environment
  • Managing contractual procedures
  • Preparing reports and programs
  • Providing leadership and guidance to department staff
  • Ensuring the delivery of all work to required standards

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Excellent technical knowledge of electrical and engineering practices
  • Excellent understanding of industry costs and productivity
  • Experience in delivering turnkey solutions from estimating to delivery in the electrical field
  • Competent use of Word, Excel, MS Project, and email communication systems
  • Clear communication, ensuring requests are dealt with promptly and accurately
  • Experience managing and developing teams (preferred)
