Job Description
We are seeking an experienced senior surveyor to join our team as we enter a new phase of expansion. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of subdivision, cadastral, and land surveying projects within New Zealand, along with a proven track record. They will work closely with our experienced in-house planners and engineers on projects from conception to completion, providing exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage projects and hit the ground running on some of Central Otago's largest projects* Collaborate with experienced in-house planners and engineers* Work collaboratively and autonomously on projects both locally and out of region* Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues* Provide leadership opportunities as the team grows and develop your career* Contribute to the growth and success of the organisation
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Extensive knowledge of subdivision, cadastral, and land surveying projects within New Zealand* A relevant survey-related NZ qualification or overseas equivalent* A minimum of 5 years' experience in the cadastral/land surveying sector* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders* Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously on projects both locally and out of region
