Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Catering Team Lead to join our team at Compass Group New Zealand. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the catering services and leading a team of professionals to deliver exceptional results.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize catering services in accordance with client standards and Compass Group's guidelines.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with contractors and schools to drive long-term partnerships.
  • Manage contracts to provide services, ensuring compliance with the contracted scope of work.
  • Establish and maintain quality customer service practices, driving end-user satisfaction.
  • Effectively manage the cost of goods and/or food within the workplace, including inventory and stock control.
  • Provide feedback, training, and development to staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • In-depth understanding of Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment principles.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage resources effectively.
