Metro Performance Glass, a leading manufacturer of glass products in New Zealand, is seeking a seasoned leader to manage the Inwards Goods, Stores, Dispatch and Facilities functions at its fast-paced Christchurch manufacturing plant.

The Role:

You will be responsible for overseeing logistics operations, including warehousing, freight management, and inventory control. You will lead a team of 27, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, adherence to best practices, and maintenance of high customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals
  • Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

  • Previous leadership experience in supply chain or logistics
