Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Wellington Airport Lounge, responsible for managing the Production Kitchen, transportation, logistics, and culinary production. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years proven work record, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Production Kitchen, including transportation, logistics, and culinary production, ensuring all tasks are performed in compliance with Compass Group and Air New Zealand standards.
  • Develop and implement effective processes and procedures to ensure high-quality products and efficient operations.
  • Lead and mentor staff, providing guidance and feedback to improve performance and productivity.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, prioritizing the well-being of employees and customers.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years proven work record with written references to show levels of expertise and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner.
  • Experience and ability to lead and mentor staff, providing guidance and feedback to improve performance.
