We're seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professional to join our Christchurch team as a part-time HSE Business Partner. In this role, you'll provide technical and practical HSE support, develop our leaders' HSE capabilities, and drive a strong safety culture.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in a HSE role with demonstrated leadership and technical skills preferably in a manufacturing environment. A broad knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

You'll be responsible for coaching business leaders to proactively manage safety and demonstrate inclusive leadership, ensuring compliance with HSE and Workers Compensation Acts, and driving safety programmes such as the Safety for Everyone Everyday programme.

Suitable candidates will understand commercial drivers and enable others to succeed, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to influence others and hold people accountable. Professional registration is preferred but not necessary.

  • Drive Safety Programmes: Implement the Safety for Everyone Everyday programme and support Tip Top Steps to Zero initiatives.
