Job Description
The Sales Consultant - Temperature Control role is responsible for managing and delivering growth within their current customers, targeting and winning back lapsed customers, and prospecting target customers (new clients) with a focus on growth coupled with profitability.
This role works closely with the Sales Manager to deliver the TC strategy for the assigned market to achieve the targets set.
Responsibilities
- Targeting, developing & acquiring customers within the sales plan.
- Meeting and exceeding targets.
- Ensuring non-rental costs are appropriately priced.
- Presentation of new products to existing and new customers.
- Submitting market analysis reports.
- Preparing and submitting proposals.
- Negotiating contracts and securing orders.
- OBTAINING CREDIT INFORMATION ON PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS FOR HAND-OVER TO FINANCE/CONTRACT MANAGERS.
- ESTABLISHES AND MAINTAINS EFFECTIVE WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITH CUSTOMERS AND COLLEAGUES.
- PROCESS DRIVEN, FOLLOWING AGGREKO'S SALES PROCESS (SECTOR SALES EXCELLENCE), AS WELL AS ALL CRM AND CPQ PROCESSES (SALESFORCE).
- COMPLETE MINIMUM SALES ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS AND CRM & CPQ COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS.
- MONITORS & ANALYSES KEY ACCOUNT RELATED LEGISLATIONS & POTENTIAL IMPACTS.
- STUDIES AND PROPOSE FLEET AND SERVICES DEVELOPMENTS TO ANSWER CUSTOMER AND LEGISLATIVE NEEDS.
- B E A B L E T O ' T R O U B L E S H O O T ' AT INSTALLATIONS ON CUSTOMER SITES.
Requirements
Has a breadth of experience in driving growth objectives in the Temperature Control (TC) / Heating Ventilation and Airconditioning (HVAC) preferably with 5-6-year work experience in sales and/or business development either from equipment sales and / or rental focused on Solutions Selling Local market knowledge and of local regulatory policies (environment, safety rules), Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts in New Zealand Commercially astute technical sales professional with significant experience, Target driven and results orientated. With a track record of consistently exceeding your sales and activity KPI targets Able to deal with complexity, creative thinker Very good interpersonal and communication skills Driven by success, high commitment.
