Job Summary

Tamakihealth's Wellness Support Team (WST) is seeking a highly motivated Health and Wellness Coordinator to join our team of dedicated professionals.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in primary care, promoting well-being and improving health outcomes for our multi-cultural communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with GP teams, health coaches, and community support workers to deliver high-quality services.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their whānau on healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.

The successful applicant will receive comprehensive training, including ongoing supervision and mentoring.

Requirements
  • Post-graduate qualification enabling therapeutic work with clients.
  • Registration with a registering body under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act (HPCA).
  • At least 6 months experience working with clients and their whānau in a team or clinical setting.
  • Experience in evidence-based therapeutic models, particularly brief psychological interventions.
