Business Development Manager

As a Territory Manager at Innov8Search, you will be responsible for driving business growth within your designated region. You will work with a diverse range of products across multiple industries, requiring a broad understanding of solutions rather than in-depth expertise in each one.
Your Key Responsibilities- Manage relationships with existing customers to expand market share
- Identify new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts
- Sell across multiple product categories, leveraging industry knowledge to drive success
- Develop key customer needs across industries such as water testing, food testing, agriculture, and contract laboratories
- Collaborate with a supportive team to share insights and drive sales success
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals
- Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks, including quotes, CRM updates, and reporting
- Meet or exceed sales targets and activity objectives consistently
We are seeking a dynamic sales professional with experience selling across multiple product categories rather than a single range. You will have a strong sales mindset, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and a proactive approach to sales and business development.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience- A tertiary qualification in microbiology, food safety, or a related field
- Experience selling into industries such as water testing, food testing, agriculture, and contract testing
- Familiarity with the New Zealand scientific and industrial markets
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel frequently (approx. 4–6 nights away per month)
- A clean New Zealand driver's licence
