Required Skills and Qualifications:
A BE qualification and 10+ years of experience in electricity network planning or power systems engineering are essential. Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and future energy trends in New Zealand is also required. Strong analytical skills, with experience in PSSSINCAL, PSCAD, PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, RTDS or similar tools, are necessary. Leadership capabilities to mentor, guide, and influence stakeholders are also crucial. The ability to solve complex challenges and make data-driven decisions is vital.
