About this Role

We are excited to hire a Volunteer Experience Advisor to join our National Volunteer Management team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with stakeholders across departments to deliver our revitalised national strategy. This role plays a critical part in ensuring BLVNZ remains a volunteer organisation of choice in Aotearoa.

You'll Be Ideal For This Role If:

  • You have administration and event planning experience.
  • You possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills along with sound listening skills.
  • You can build strong relationships, collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholder groups, and challenge convention.
  • You have working knowledge and understanding of social media.
  • Tertiary qualification is a bonus.
  • You hold a full driver's licence.

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with sight loss. As a Volunteer Experience Advisor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the volunteer experience at BLVNZ. You will work closely with our volunteers, staff, and stakeholders to ensure that we remain a volunteer organisation of choice in Aotearoa.
