Clinical Feeding Specialist

**Job Overview**
The County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Feeding Specialist to join our Home Enteral Feeding Team. This role will involve supporting the enteral feeding needs of our local community by conducting review consultations with service users, feeding back to the dietitians, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure equipment provision.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct review consultations with service users under the guidance of dietitians
- Liaise with dietitians, home enterally fed individuals, and their parents/carers
- Work with third-party enteral feed providers to ensure seamless care delivery
- Support service development and improvement within the Nutrition and Dietetics Service
**Requirements**
- Able to travel across trust sites and in the community
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in health and social related field
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience working within healthcare or as a healthcare assistant
**Working Environment**
The Nutrition and Dietetics Service is comprised of six teams, including dietitians, a specialist nurse, dietetic assistants, and admin support based across four sites. The team works collaboratively to provide high-quality care to patients and families.
