About Our Service

We provide care to patients with diabetes in partnership with general practice and secondary care environments. Our team consists of senior clinicians, including an endocrinologist, nurse practitioner, psychologist, and dietitian. We work collaboratively to deliver high-quality patient care.

Our Team's Expertise

  • Adult Weight Management services
  • Diabetes in Pregnancy services
  • Youth and Young Adults services
  • Insulin Pump Team
  • Inpatient team

Your Role as a Trainee

You will be working closely with our experienced clinicians to develop your skills and knowledge in diabetes management. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to participate in patient consultations, learn from our team's expertise, and contribute to the development of our service.

Requirements

  • Registered or eligible for registration with the New Zealand Medical Council
  • Completed FRACP written and clinical examinations (or equivalent)
  • Completed basic training requirements
