Job Description

This GIS-Asset Data Technician role ensures accurate and up-to-date electricity asset information in our business systems. Working in New Plymouth, you'll collaborate with teams to understand the importance of high-quality data in driving decisions.

  1. Maintain data accuracy by investigating, identifying, and reconciling incomplete or inconsistent data.
  2. Enhance data quality by improving data completeness and reliability within our systems.
  3. Capture key information by inputting accurate asset data following required standards.
  4. Provide support by responding to queries from the business and service providers.
  5. Collaborate across teams by working with internal and external project team members to improve data integrity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You'll need experience with ArcGIS and SAP. Attention to detail is crucial, as well as being a team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Problem-solving mindset and knowledge of the electricity industry are also beneficial.
