About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Family Advocate to join our team in a local school setting.

The successful candidate will work with a case load of families, providing early intervention and preventive social work services to vulnerable children and teens; and their whanau.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tailored plans to address the needs of clients, working closely with them, their families, and school staff.
  • Provide individual and group work using our strengths-based, multi-systemic approach to encourage positive and lasting change.

This is a fixed term position until June 2026, working 20 hours per week.

Requirements
  • Tertiary level degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Registration with the Social Workers Registration Board.
  • Full, clean NZ driver licence, and reliable vehicle.
  • Experience working as a Social Worker in a school setting.
