Job Overview

About the Role

The primary responsibility of this position is to identify individuals displaying out-of-the-ordinary behaviour that may indicate malicious intent. This requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to build rapport quickly with passengers, airport workers or members of the public.

Key Tasks
  • Observe and engage with individuals to deliver enhanced security screening measures within the operational environment.
  • Attend incidents that require behaviour assessment and elicit information from individuals through targeted conversation and questioning.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders and gather intelligence of benefit to Aviation Security.
Requirements
  • A strong ability to work in a dynamic environment and make on-the-spot decisions with good judgment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to conduct difficult conversations.
  • Flexibility to work a 4 on 2 off shift cycle and be available to respond at short notice.
