Covert Technical Surveillance

New Zealand Police is seeking a skilled Technical Operative to join our team, providing specialist covert technical surveillance capabilities to support serious crime investigations. As a member of the National Criminal Investigations Group (NCIG), you will work in a dynamic operational environment, deploying covert surveillance devices to listen to, track, or observe activity.

You will take responsibility for assigned work, including projects and operational planning. Strong technical skills, demonstrated initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset are essential for success in this role. A strong technical background, sound judgement, and role model behaviours that encourage a positive team culture are also required.
