About Us:

The Restaurant Association of New Zealand is seeking an experienced hospitality professional to join our team as a Hospo Start Facilitator/Coordinator. We are proud of our hospitality training programme, 'Hospo Start', and aim to provide practical hospitality training and employability skills to prepare trainees for a career in the industry.

The Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a background in hospitality training who can deliver entry-level hospitality training, conduct assessments, and explore work experience opportunities. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience delivering group training and providing an engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver entry-level hospitality training
  • Conduct and mark assessments
  • Explore work experience opportunities and place trainees in employment
  • Build new relationships with potential employers

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in hospitality training
  • A strong passion for the hospitality industry
  • Assessors Qualification unit standard 4098 or certificate in Adult education level 5
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • A desire to help people succeed and motivate others
