Clinical Lead in Elderly Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead in Elderly Care to join our team at Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health assessment and treatment services to individuals 65 years and older in the Canterbury region.
The successful applicant will have a current (or be eligible for) a Medical Council of New Zealand Practising Certificate with vocational registration as a Psychiatrist and hold a specialist qualification in Psychiatry recognised by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. A sub-specialty qualification in Psychiatry of Old Age or extensive experience in this area of practice is highly desirable.
