Compliance Specialist for Financial Institutions

At SkyCity, we're seeking a talented individual to join our Financial Crime department as a Financial Crime Compliance Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with the business and the financial crime team to ensure adherence to financial crime compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice to enable the business to understand and manage financial crime compliance risks.
  • Proactively monitor and report on adherence to SkyCity's AML/CFT program in New Zealand and Australia.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for financial crime queries and change initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure the business is aware of its financial crime obligations.
Minimum Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in AML/CFT within the gaming or financial services industries.
  • Knowledge of financial crime legislation, regulations, and global best practices.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Self-starter with excellent independent working skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
