About the Job

The ideal candidate will possess technical acumen, administrative skills, and excellent communication abilities.

You will be responsible for making item requirements on continuation/copy orders, coordinating updates across projects, and ensuring compliance with class societies' regulations.

A strong ERP system user with good general IT skills, you will work closely with engineers to create new tools and support project planning.

Ad-hoc tasks and internal communication are also key aspects of this role, which requires flexibility, positivity, and a proactive approach.

Your Responsibilities

  • Make item requirements on vessel 2, 3, 4, 5 etc.
  • Coordinate updates across projects (e.g. If changing supplier, a new design is released through ECP etc.)
  • Make class letters, collect class documentation and submit documentation to class approval for pressure vessels (Boilers, TFO, steam drums etc.)
  • Follow up approval process and schedule with class societies
  • Support on planning and arranging integration of new ways of working together with functional leaders
  • Internal communication to relevant stakeholders and collaboration between departments
  • Help engineers create new supporting tools, work descriptions etc.
  • Support on task planning (keep structure)
  • Support Project Engineers on various tasks
  • Coordinate collaboration tasks between Engineers and Factory
  • Ad hoc tasks to support

Your Qualifications

Previous experience as an administrator, project support, or engineering assistant is desirable, but not necessary.

What matters most is your ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and demonstrate initiative.

We're looking for someone who is active, systematic, and structured in their work, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
