Your Role
The primary purpose of this role is as the manager for consumer claims for the Chubb New Zealand business. You will oversee and support teams managing Accident and Health claims, including corporate and leisure travel, direct marketing, specialty personal lines, and retail digital products.
Focusing on maintaining high standards of customer service delivery and efficiency while controlling claims-related expenses is essential. You will also be responsible for overseeing large and technical losses across the portfolio and collaborating with various teams and vendors that support these services.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of Team Leader or management experience, and/or 2-3 years of claims-related experience
- Broad knowledge of the insurance industry and claims processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Knowledge of Insurance contracts and Policy coverages
- Experience with NZ Legal requirements and regulations
- Strong customer service focus
- Ability to collaborate with overseas Technical Managers
- Demonstrated focus on timely and efficient execution
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with insurance brokers
