About the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to effectively manage and coordinate multiple clinical pathways and agencies for clients within the regional forensic and rehabilitation services. This includes facilitating, coordinating, management, oversight, and entry to and discharge from the regional forensic and rehabilitation services.
As a key member of the team, you will support the development of quality improvement initiatives, reporting, and coordination of Regional Forensics & Inpatient Rehabilitation services as appropriate. You will also require a good understanding and awareness of the current demands on national and regional resources of Forensic and General adult mental health services.
About the Team
We are an operational group of regional and national services with staff based in various locations across the Central Region. Our services are both inpatient and community-based, providing a comprehensive range of care to those in need.
About You
We are seeking a motivated, resourceful, and enthusiastic registered health professional to join our Regional Forensics and Rehabilitation inpatient service. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with committed, innovative, and creative teams implementing a multi-disciplinary approach for consumers with the Regional Forensics and Rehabilitation Inpatient Services.
You will have the skills to assess, plan, implement, review, and evaluate strategies to ensure quality provision of service delivery. Proven experience in facilitating and managing change at a local level is essential. A postgraduate certificate in specialty nursing practice or undergraduate mental health/learning disability nursing programme is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple clinical pathways and agencies for clients within the regional forensic and rehabilitation services.
- Facilitate, coordinate, manage, oversee, and entry to and discharge from the regional forensic and rehabilitation services.
- Support the development of quality improvement initiatives, reporting, and coordination of Regional Forensics & Inpatient Rehabilitation services as appropriate.
