Oji Fibre Solutions is a market leader specialising in the collection of kerbside and commercial waste paper for supply to our New Zealand Pulp & Paper Mills and export customers. Our company is committed to delivering innovative, sustainable products and developing solutions that add value to our customers' businesses.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end freight bookings, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient shipment of goods. This includes coordinating packing programs with packers, preparing and lodging all required export documents (invoices, packing lists, declarations), undertaking timely month-end reporting and managing the export spreadsheet, and maintaining positive working relationships with customers, shipping agents, and packing contractors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a good understanding of export documentation and international trade regulations. You must also have attention to detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy in all export paperwork, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with SAP or similar systems. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal teams and customers, are essential. You should be capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment, as well as able to work independently and take ownership of key tasks and responsibilities.
