The Position Overview:

  • Our global network offers a multi-mode global forwarding suite of services spanning over 700 locations in 47 countries.

About the Role:

The Strategic Semiconductor Sales Lead will be responsible for securing and managing new customer business in air, ocean, warehousing/distribution, trucking & 3PL services within the high tech / semiconductor vertical.

You will be tasked with achieving revenue targets by securing business with new global customers and selling additional services to current global customers.

Responsibility includes developing strong C-Level relationships with target customers and providing expertise in the assigned vertical to share with other members of our team.

Requirements:

  1. SIGNIFICANT SALES EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE FREIGHT FORWARDING / LOGISTICS SECTOR (7+ yrs)
  2. MULTIPLE EXISTING CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS WITHIN THE HIGH TECH / SEMICONDUCTOR VERTICAL
  3. DEMONSTRATED TRACK RECORD OF SALES SUCCESS
  4. COMPLEX SUPPLY CHAIN SOLUTIONS INCLUDING TRANSPORTATION, WAREHOUSING, DISTRIBUTION & REVERSE LOGISTICS
  5. KNOWLEDGE OF MAJOR TRADE LANES (ASIA-PACIFIC, TRANS-ATLANTIC, INDIA)
  6. STRONG NEGOTIATION SKILLS – ABILITY TO NEGOTIATE GLOBAL CONTRACTS & PROCESSES
  7. ABILITY TO TRAVEL WITHIN ASSIGNED TERRITORY 40%
  8. CORE COMPETENCIES: Hunter mentality, Excellent communication skills (verbal & written), Excellent organizational skills, Ability to understand, develop and maintain multi-cultural relationships
