Medical Scheduler Role
NaphCare is seeking a highly skilled Medical Scheduler to join our team at FCC Petersburg, Virginia. The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical terminology and medical records, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review medical records and authorization scenarios to support NaphCare's clients and patients.
  • Schedule and verify appointments, utilizing healthcare experience to maximize efficiencies in the scheduling process.
  • Maintain a calendar and utilize technology to streamline the scheduling process, demonstrating skills in accuracy and multitasking.
  • Demonstrate a high comfort level in working with large volumes of data, maintaining confidentiality when managing medical records, patient data, and NaphCare's processes.
  • Perform additional duties and specific projects as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of experience scheduling appointments and/or procedures in a multi-specialty clinic, provider's office, or hospital setting.
  • A strong working knowledge of medical terminology and medical records.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate skills in accuracy and multitasking with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to customer service throughout the scheduling process.
  • A high comfort level in working with large volumes of data.
  • Maintain confidentiality when managing medical records, patient data, and NaphCare's processes.
