This key role will be responsible for driving brand equity and market share through consumer engagement initiatives such as innovation, TTL campaigns, digital presence, and portfolio management.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our brand equity metrics are achieved and supporting the accomplishment of financial goals and market share growth objectives.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement overall brand, marketing, and communication strategies.
  • Manage the product portfolio to meet consumer needs and enhance Tegel's position as NZ's leading poultry brand.
  • Oversee the marketing budget, maximizing ROI on all activities and identifying inefficient spend.
  • Identify marketing opportunities by monitoring competitor and other market activities and defining opportunities relevant to the brand and market.
  • Gain support for key initiatives from both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, preferably with a major in Marketing.
  • 5 years of FMCG marketing experience with strong category management skills.
  • Commercial approach to category development.
  • Familiarity with IRI, Nielsen, Quantium, and Dunhumby reports is advantageous.
