About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Quality Specialist to join our Stormwater Quality team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for understanding and addressing water quality issues across the Auckland Region.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and use process-based water quality models and tools to assess stormwater management techniques.
  • Analyse and manage large datasets to improve water quality for human and ecosystem health.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
  • Plan, procure, and manage the Stormwater Quality work programme with consultants, contractors, and internal resources.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BSc in Water Quality/Limnology/Environmental Geochemistry or science.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in water quality (Freshwater/Coastal) modelling.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write reports covering complex technical issues.
