The Role

We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our Student Support Team - Ratonga Akonga, providing administrative support for the Accessibility and Health Centre teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating schedules, directing enquiries, and undertaking tasks in clinic to support nurses as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate schedules for Casual Support Workers (CSWs) and provide efficient administrative support to the Accessibility and Health Centre Teams
  • Direct akonga, kaimahi, and other stakeholder enquiries in a positive and affirming manner
  • Undertake HCA tasks in clinic to support nurses as necessary, including First Aid and First Response Team support, triaging patients, completing vital signs, and vaccine cold chain management
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification relating to business or medical administration OR equivalent proven administrative experience
  • Current First Aid certificate or ability to complete as a priority
  • Ability to relate to people with disabilities and/or diverse learning needs in a positive and affirming manner
  • Experience using platforms and software commonly used for educational/administrative purposes
