Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in a correctional healthcare setting. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide medical care and treatment to patients, including addressing behavioral health disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily sick call and follow standardized procedures and protocols
  • Provide emergency care for identified medical emergencies and coordinate patient transfers to appropriate facilities
  • Treat and manage non-psychotic behavioral health disorders and provide ongoing care for patients on maintenance doses of non-psychotic medications

Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a master's degree in nursing or an accredited education program for PAs, with a minimum of two years' experience in a correctional/detention facility setting. You must also possess unrestricted current licensure, certification, or registration in your state of practice, as well as DEA registration and lifesaving BLS and PALS certification through AHA.
