**Responsibilities and Requirements**

The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for managing the credentialing process for all new medical staff and allied health professional applicants. This includes coordinating with the Director Medical Staff Services to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and bylaws.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as experience in medical staff services with duties that involved medical staff and allied health credentialing. A minimum of 3 years' experience is required, with managed care or other healthcare environment experience preferred.

Education and Certifications**

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM) certification preferred
