Role Overview
As a Park Conservationist, you will play a vital role in preserving Auckland's heritage and recreation sites. This is a crucial operational position that forms part of a small, close-knit team who maintain historical pa sites, tracks, and amenity areas across various landscapes.

Your Responsibilities
You will be involved in tasks for the heritage and visitor programmes, including undertaking repairs and maintenance of tracks in both front and back country locations. Your work will also involve carrying out planned projects to a high standard and on time, contributing to the successful delivery of conservation outcomes, and working with volunteers and community groups to achieve greater conservation results.

Key Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a confident communicator and talented team player who has a passion for protecting Auckland's heritage and visitor sites. The ideal candidate will have hands-on practical skills, a commitment to ensuring facilities and tracks are safe and accessible, and experience in the backcountry.
