We are seeking an experienced Racing and Events Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing events, functions, and conferences from start to finish. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution and deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute events, functions, and conferences from start to finish.
- Support 20 race days per season, managing a mix of weekend and public holiday dates.
- Ensure all marketing materials align with the brand, while supporting digital marketing efforts.
- Keep event pages updated with engaging and relevant content.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including caterers, labour hire, and hire supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service, handling reception duties, inquiries, memberships, and quotes.
- Maintain and update the WTR Membership database, including record keeping, invoicing, and distribution of membership cards.
- Assist the finance team with invoicing and related tasks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in marketing and event management.
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a drive to exceed expectations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Collaborative mindset, as successful events rely on teamwork and coordination.
- Solutions-focused approach, always looking for ways to improve systems and processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, event management systems, social media, AV equipment, and graphic design software.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
