**The Role**

We are looking for a skilled Composite Technician who specializes in Painting to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for building and assembling various parts of our Electron rocket, including pressurized tanks, structural assemblies, propellant filters, and payload hardware. You will also work on applying surface coatings to internal and external surfaces of the vehicle, adhering to our high standards of quality and meeting production schedule demands.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Accurately measure, mark, and trim components using drawings and work instructions
  • Prepare and coat internal and external surfaces of the vehicle to designed specifications
  • Paint components inside and outside the launch vehicle, working in confined spaces while wearing safety PPE
  • Prepare and coat tooling substrates used for production
  • Install vehicle decals to required specifications
