About the Role
The Mechanical Systems Technician - Neutron plays a crucial role in assembling and testing the development, qualification, and flight article hardware of the Neutron Launch Vehicle. This involves first-article builds where component designs are not yet solidified, requiring critical thinking and collaboration with Development and Manufacturing Engineers. As a Technician, you'll work hands-on with tools, equipment, and facilities to build, launch, or test Rocket Lab launch vehicles and components.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test development, qualification, and flight article hardware
  • Collaborate with Development and Manufacturing Engineers to suggest improvement ideas
  • Meet production and launch schedule deadlines

Requirements
  • Trade-qualified in relevant industry
  • 4+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong track record in producing and testing R&D components
  • Hands-on technical experience problem-solving mechanical/electro-mechanical systems
