Job Description

Our Intensive Care Unit is a busy and dynamic environment that requires a high level of skill and expertise. As an Intensive Care Registrar, you will work closely with our consultant and senior nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care and manage a caseload of critically ill patients.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of critically ill patients
  • Collaborate with consultant and senior nursing staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Requirements

  • Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligibility for general or provisional general registration
  • A minimum of three years' post-qualification experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
