About the Opportunity

Dunedin Hospital offers a comprehensive range of tertiary services, with the Emergency Department delivering emergency medicine practice in all its aspects. Close links with the University of Otago and the National Poisons Centre enable the department to engage actively in point-of-care ultrasound, toxicology, and simulation.

The department is accredited for advanced training by the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine and sees approximately 47,000 patients per year with a diverse spectrum of pathology.

About You

Applicants must have completed specialist training and be eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. They should be able to provide cover for the period May - October 2025.
