AODT Coordinator Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced AODT Coordinator to join our team. As a skilled administrator, you will play a critical role in coordinating AOD testing services with Community Probation sites and AOD testing providers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and escalating issues and trends to ensure prompt follow-up action is taken;
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to frontline staff on AOD testing procedures;
  • Assisting with the development of AOD testing practices and continuous improvement within the Department;
  • Coordinating AOD testing with Community Corrections staff;
  • Providing coaching and ongoing development opportunities to team members;
  • Recording tests and maintaining PC-based databases, including producing ad hoc reports as required.

As a successful candidate, you will possess:

  • Excellent administrative skills and experience working with computer systems and Microsoft Office products;
  • A good understanding of the requirements to maintain confidentiality of information and the Privacy Act;
  • Demonstrated experience providing timely and accurate advice and guidance in a potentially high-pressure environment;
  • The ability to read and interpret relevant legislation;
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information;
  • Organisational and time management skills;
  • Strong relationship management skills;
  • Knowledge of Community Probation would be beneficial.
