The YMCA of Downtown Manchester is seeking a highly motivated Nutrition Program Coordinator to join our culinary operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing daily food service operations, including meal preparation, cooking, and distribution.

About the Role
  • We are looking for a skilled individual who can establish and maintain systems and procedures for ordering, receiving, storing, preparing, and serving food and related products.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in menu planning and development, including events within assigned locations.
  • Maintaining kitchen equipment and scheduling repairs is also a key aspect of this position.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement food safety and allergy plans to ensure a safe environment for our customers.
  2. Manage budgets effectively, ensuring that all department expenses are accounted for.
  3. Conduct daily inspections to ensure cleanliness of all items and food service facilities.
Requirements
  • ServeSafe certification is a must-have for this position.
  • A valid driver's license or ability to travel between assigned locations is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organization, and project management skills.

This is a full-time, hourly position with an extensive benefits package that includes:

  • Pay Range: $17 - $21 hr.
