Salary
The successful candidate will be remunerated with a competitive hourly rate between $23.38 and $29.10 per hour, acknowledging their valuable contribution to our community.
Job Description
As a Whanau Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people in their homes and communities, helping them overcome challenges and build confidence. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting individuals with daily activities such as swimming, attending sporting events, arts and crafts, movies, or shopping
- Supporting young people in achieving their personal goals and dreams
- Providing consistent support to empower individuals to live their best life
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need to possess:
- Energetic and passionate about supporting people to achieve their goals
- Able to look beyond presenting barriers and provide experiences that empower people to live their best life
- Desire to support people in learning new skills and achieving outcomes
- Full driver's licence and ability to complete police checks, CYRS checks, and reference checks
