About the Opportunity

We are seeking a fixed term (end Jan 2026), part-time (0.6FTE) Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide specialist nursing care and coordination of surgical care to paediatric cardiac patients and adult patients with congenital heart disease.

About the Team

The Clinical Nurse Specialist will join the multidisciplinary Paediatric and Congenital Cardiac Service team at Starship Child Health, which provides comprehensive care to neonates, children, and young people throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific.

About You

  • Be an experienced Paediatric Cardiology nurse with a strong commitment to quality healthcare.
  • Have excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a bi-cultural environment.
  • Have a Master's degree or a post –graduate diploma in a relevant field.
  • Have experience in a leadership role with a focus on patient-centered care.
