Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nursing Practitioner - Paediatrics to join our Community Child Health Team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with children and their families to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

About the Role

You will be responsible for providing advanced nursing practice in paediatrics, including assessing and addressing the unique needs of each child and family. This will involve conducting home visits, developing and implementing effective care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and address the complex health needs of children and their families
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans to promote safety, independence, and self-care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery
  • Conduct regular reviews to monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in paediatric nursing, including acute paediatrics
  • Current APC and NZ drivers' licence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
