Medical Support Specialist

Responsibilities- We collect vital signs and general health information for patient charts and prepare patients for examination.
- We assist providers as needed with examinations and procedures.
- We help with laboratory specimen collection and test performance as ordered by providers or facilitate patient testing, admissions, and referrals.
- LPN - We require a graduate of an LPN program with a current license and relevant clinic experience. Occupational health experience is desirable.
- CMA - An accredited Medical Assistant program graduate is essential. Proficiency in practice management systems, office automation, and CPT and ICD-10 coding is necessary. Assisting physicians with patient care, including vital signs and specimen collection, is also required.
- Clinic Tech - A valid NC Paramedic or AEMT certification is mandatory.
