**About Us**
Toro Mai a Ringa, in partnership with Lakes DHB under the Te Ara Tauwhirotanga model of care, operates 24 hours, 7 days a week on a rotating roster. We are based in Rotorua and provide support for people who have complex needs beyond the normal capability of residential mental health providers.
**Our Mission**
We aim to offer our whai ora support to build daily routines, providing ongoing tools and encouragement to develop, grow, and flourish. Our team is dedicated to working alongside Kaimahi, seniors, and the team manager to ensure the service meets whai ora outcomes.
**The Role**
In this position, you will utilise your skills and knowledge as a Registered Nurse to support the plans for whai ora within our service. You will work directly with the whai ora, identifying strengths, goals, and issues. Additionally, you will coordinate allocated whai ora; entry, client pathway, reviews, external client meetings as well as exit.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Be registered and have a current practicing certificate in nursing
- Experience in mental health nursing is preferred
- Full NZ Driver's Licence
- Hold a valid/current work visa, residency, or citizenship
- Have a client-centred, recovery-focused approach.
- Unwaveringly believe in people's ability to progress no matter the obstacles.
