The Ministry of Justice in New Zealand is seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Court Registry Support Officer. This pivotal role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our courts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and efficient customer service to participants, including lawyers, judges, and the public
  • Support Judges and Court Registry Officers in their daily tasks, both in and out of the courtroom
  • Assist with introducing Judges/judicial officers into court in both English and Te Reo Maori
  • Support the jury service function and jurors during court trials
  • Offer general administrative support to Court Registry Officers, including photocopying, scanning, and filing documents
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, as well as evidence exhibits
  • Provide advice and support to our diverse customer base
