Cleavers Corner is a renowned Gastro Pub situated on the busy SH1 of Ashburton. We are seeking highly skilled Duty Managers to lead our front-of-house team and Chef de Partie to support our kitchen team.
The ideal candidates will possess excellent leadership skills, be able to work under pressure, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for mentoring and developing the Front of House team, managing customer complaints, and ensuring that all customers receive a personalized experience.
We offer a competitive wage or salary based on experience, as well as a range of benefits including medical insurance subsidy, staff discount on food and drink, and support with work visas for eligible candidates. This is a permanent full-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 35 hours per week.
About the Role:
  • Mentoring and supporting the Front of House team to deliver high-quality service.
  • Managing customer complaints and providing positive outcomes.
  • Welcoming guests and providing a personalized experience.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Hold a current LCQ/Duty Manager's License.
  • Desire to deliver and exceed expectations in guest service.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
