About the Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and organised Events Specialist to support the management of events. This role sits within our Employee Communications, Engagement and Events Team and works alongside Event Managers and Specialists who put together amazing events.
Responsibilities
- Support the Events Team with the management of events, including communications, customer experience, response mechanisms, invitations and RSVP lists.
- Execute both in-person events and online/virtual events, such as Teams Town Hall/Webinars.
- Liaise with business partners to ensure engagement and alignment to deliver the agreed event.
- Ensure events are consistent with Westpac's brand framework.
- Manage event calendars, signage requests and bookings.
- Assess risks for external venues and ensure accurate records are kept.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience in a support role within the Events Management industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Organised and efficient with excellent communication skills.
- A positive attitude, resilience and flexibility to meet varying work locations and hours.
