We are seeking an Events Coordinator to join our External Engagement Team. Reporting to the Events Manager, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality internal and external events that enhance MIT's brand and foster valuable relationships with industry, employers, and community partners.

In this role, you'll support the planning and execution of internal and external events, ensuring they align with MIT's strategic goals and enhance our brand. You'll coordinate large-scale events such as graduations, industry engagements, and VIP events—managing budgets, logistics, suppliers, and communications. With strong project management skills and a passion for creating meaningful experiences, you'll play a key role in the events team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver both virtual and in-person events.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to understand event objectives and ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage budgets, contracts, suppliers, and logistics to deliver high-quality experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements.
  • Develop creative event concepts that engage and leave a lasting impact.
  • Provide post-event analysis and reporting to drive continuous improvement.
